“Baruneswar Mela” The Biggest Mela of Jajpur District on 14th January 2013
Baruneswar ‘Mela’ is one of the most important ‘Mela’ continuing for 7 days beginning from Makarasankranti i.e. 1st day of Magha (14th January) every year. 
Baruneswar - The Baruneswar Temple stands beside a small stream named Kushabhadra branched off from the river Baitarani on the South Eastern Limit of the Triangular Biraja Kshetra. The Siva Lingam is submerged under water as the temple is buried up to the Gandi above. It is a modern temple on the ancient shrineIt’s Jajpur (12 kms) , 132 kms far from Bhubaneswar .
