In due course of various campaigns and supportive health programs NISARG could sense the the agony of Rural Odisha on their helplessness towards the exploitation of village quacks . Lack of adequate numbers of Govt health professionals and the entropic order of their availability has emerged as a persistent challenge in Odisha.
The crisis of adequate numbers of Allopathic health professionals to cater the health and hygiene requirements of last mile has lead NISARG to think on supplementing the community with the alternative and additional health networks as resources and infrastructure.
Backed up with an in-depth understanding of ground dynamics, exiting health system and possible solutions NISARG has come up with a strategic vision of extending the networks of Aurvedic OPDs in every grampanchayat. Two fully equipped Ayurvedic Hospitals has been established in two major Cities of Odisha, Cuttack and Bhubaneswar as a back end support headquarter with an intention of extending the supports to all these OPDs.
It’s indeed a noble intention and innovative strategic intervention by its chairman Mr Saroj Mohanty with this Odisha based NGO to bring adequate coherance in health system of rural Odisha.
