Naddiya Pachuri ( ନଡିଆ ପାଚୁରି )by Adyasha Padhi
- 1 cup yogurt (dahi)
- 2 cup scraped (Nariyal)
- 1 large boiled potatoe peeled and chopped into small pieces
- 1/2 t-spoon cumin (Jeera)
- 1/2 t-spoon mustard seeds(sorisha)
- 4 green chilly, finely chopped (optional)
- 1/2 t-spoon salt
- 1/2 t-spoon kala namak (if not available, then take salt instead)
- 1/2 tbspoon cooking oil
- 1/4 t-spoon black pepper powder (Kali mirch)
- 1/2 t-spoon red chillies powder (lal mirch)
- 2 dry red chillies
- 10-15 fresh coriander leaves (Dhaniya patti),Finely chopped
- 2 strands of curry leaves.
How to make Coconut raita (Naddiya Pachuri):
- Take a medium sized bowl and add yogurt to it and mash it properly. Add scraped coconut,potatoe,green chilly,red chilly powder,black pepper powder,salt and again mix them well.
- Heat oil in a pan.Add mustard n cumin seeds.After it started crackling add curry leaves a fry for few seconds.Then add it to the bowl containing the mixture n mix it slightly.
- Before serving, garnish Coconut raita with finely chopped coriander leaves.
