Habisa Dalma for Panchuka by Gayatree Naik

INGREDIENTS

  • Pigeon Pea(ହରଡ ଡାଲି)-200gm
  • Papiya(ଅମୃତଭଣ୍ଡା)- 200 gm
  • Beans(ବିନ) – 80 gm
  • Drumstick(ସଜନା ଛୁଇଁ)- 60 gm
  • Brinjal(ବାଇଗଣ)- 175gm
  • Yam(ମାଟି ଆଳୁ) – 100 gm
  • Pumpkin(କଖାରୁ)-100gm
  • Radish(ମୂଳା)- 100 gm
  • Potato(ଆଳୁ) -150 gm
  • Tomato (ବିଲାତି)– 100gm
  • Coriander Leaves(ଧନିଆ ପତ୍ର)- 25 gm
  • Ginger(ଅଦା)– 25 gm
  • Refined Oil/Ghee– 100 gm
  • Pancha Phutan - 2 tsp
  • Dry Chili(ଶୁଖିଲା ଲଙ୍କା) – 1 or 2( as per taste)
  • Bay Leaf(ତେଜ ପତ୍ର)- 2 pcs
  • Fry Cumin seed powder(ଭଜା ଜୀରା ଗୁଣ୍ଡ)- 1tsp
  • Salt(ଲୁଣ) – as per taste


PREPARATION :

  • Cut the vegetables into medium small pieces( potato, radish , papaya, beans, Yam, pumpkin, tomato). Boil all vegetables and dal in pressure cooker till it cook properly.
  • Crush ginger.
  • Heat oil in a deep pan and Add pancha phutan, dry chili and bay leaf to the oil. When it s starts spluttering add crushed ginger.
  • Put turmeric powder, fry cumin seed powder , all boiled vegetables and add salt to taste. Stir it properly and cover it. Stir it in low flame.
  • .Garnish with coriander leaves and remove from flame. Serve with rice or roti.


TIPS:
You can add pinch of hingu for better taste .
