BANKING WOES OF KORAPUT DENIZENS WILL SOON BE HISTORY
Reported by Abhijeet Acharya : - Koraput district administration with the help of six nationalized banks and IAP (Integrated Action Plan) will open 46 USBs (Ultra Small Branches) in villages with a population of 2000 and without a bank , to address the baking related requirements of the Koraput denizens. At this particular juncture , it is a herculean task for the district denizens to deal with their banking tasks but all those woes galore will be eradicated as Utkal Gramin Bank, State Bank Of India, Andhra Bank,UCO Bank, Union Bank Of India, Indian Overseas Bank will open thirty three,six,four,one,one&one branches respectively and for the aforementioned plan, the infrastructure expenditure will be provided by the district administration and for this Rs 1.46 Lakh will be spent of from the IAP for each USB.This information has been revealed by Koraput district collector Sachin Jadhav in a media communique.
