Reported by Abhijeet Acharya :- CATARACT SURGERY VIA PHACOEMUSIFICATION MODUS OPERANDI WILL COMMENCE IN JEYPORE HOSPITAL, Gone are the days when the patient would have to bear the excruciating agony and the hypnologic anesthesia as the cutting edge modus operandi of phacoemulsification will enable cataract surgeons to make the patients undergo pain-free cataract surgery without the anesthesia being administered on them. All the paraphernalia for making this fourth generation phacoemulsification surgery feasible have already been installed in the Jeypore Hospital & from the first week of coming March, the Jeypore hospital will be offering the aforementioned painless surgical service and that too free of cost. The facility has been made available by the NPCB (National Program for Control of Blindness).
