BLOWING CACOPHONOUS HORNS MAY SOON GET YOU PENALIZED

Reported by Abhijeet Acharya:- After having imposed moratorium on on tinted glasses in vehicles, Commissionerate Top Cops have been cogitating over green-signaling the crackdown against those commuter who don’t feel any compunction while blowing ear-deafening cacophonous and horrisonous horns. Commissionerate Police has recently organized an awareness campaign to encourage commuters not to high-decibel horns. According to OUP (Odisha Urban Police) Act, no commuter must blow horn which is on the wrong side of the permissible 65-decibel level. Violation of the aforementioned diktat may get the commuters be penalized Rs.500/-
