Mugga Daali Chandrakaanti
INGREDIENTS:-

  • GREEN GRAM (MOONG) – 250 gm
  • COCONUT – 1 SCRAPPED
  • JAGGERY – 150 gm (to taste)
  • CARDAMON – 5-6 (CRUSHED)
  • VEGETABLE OIL/GHEE (TO FRY)

PROCEDURE:-

  • 1)WASH GREEN GRAM WITH COLD WATER THOROUGHLY.
  • 2)THEN SOAK IT OVERNIGHT(5-6HOURS)
  • 3)DRAIN THE WATER & GRIND THE GREEN GRAM IN MIXER ALONG WITH 100 GRAM OF JAGGERY & MAKE SMOOTH PASTE.
  • 4)HEAT A KADHAI & PUT AROUND 100 gm JAGGERY & HEAT IT UNTIL IT DISSOLVES.ADD GRATED COCONUT & CRUSHED CARDAMON.SAUTE IT TILL COCONUT IS WELL FRIED IN JAGGERY.
  • 5)HEAT A TAWA THEN SIM THE STOVE.PUT SOME GHEE & A LAYER OF BLACK GRAM PASTE & THEN PUT SOME FRIED COCONUT ON IT.THEN PUT ANOTHER LAYER OF THE PASTE.
  • 6)FRY IT FOR FEW SECONDS THEN TURN IT WITH A SPOON.FRY IT AGAIN FOR A MINUTE.
  • 7)TAKE IT OUT FROM THE TAWA & SERVE WITH RABDI OR KHEERI.
