Odisha Govt Has decided to add 19 more tribal languages to introduce in primary schools – Latest Odisha education News
In the fourth governing meeting of OPEPA & secondary education of odisha was happened in Odisha State Secretariat office . Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik told as tribal student will take more interest towards education if we will add the mother tongue in to the syllabus , so kids will come to school as well as Angawadi to increase our literacy level. As per the calculation the drop-out student at primary level is 10 lac in 2002 .
Also the State Government plans to open 1,188 high schools and upgrade 754 primary schools as high schools, The State Government has already created 18,000 new posts of teachers and initiated process of recruitment in high schools.
The meeting was attended by Minister of School and Mass Education Rabi Narayan Nanda, department secretary Usha Padhee, Chief Secretary Jugal Kishore Mohapatra and several other representatives.
