While officially taking over the charge Mr. Parida ensured to popularise Odisha Khadi abroad in the state, in other cities and outside India as well. He also assured of filling up the vacant posts in the board and creating model Khadi Centres in different districts.

It is noted that post election Cm Naveen Patnaik, appointed Mr. Parida as the Chairman of State KVI Borad as a reward to his loyalty and hard work during last 2-3 years in strengthening the party’s work. Mr. Parida has been a poster boy of BJD at the Nationla Capital since few years by highlighting major issues related to Odisha at a National Level. He was the president of Delhi Odia Students Association and Yuva Odisha. He was an aspirant for the Patkura assembly constituency party ticket which he failed to get. His work during the swabhiman Samabesa, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Baripada and Cuttack ULB elections were also well appreciated.

He was supposed to be one of the youngest BJD leaders who is branding party’s image at various level. Mr. Parida has his master’s degree from Delhi School of Social Work and has high ambitions of making his home district Kendrapada visible nationally.
