Taala Gudda Paayas – Yummy sweet paayas prepared by Adyasha Padhi

Ingredients

1)Toor dal – 1 small cup
2)Coconut ( grated ) – 1/4 cup
3)Palm jaggery/Khajoor Jaggery ( grated ) – 1/2 cup
4)Semolina – 1 tsp
5)Ghee – 1 tsp
6)Cardamom – 2
7)Raisins – 10
8)Cashews – 10

Method
1. Pressure cook toor dal and set aside.
2. Add raisins and cashews to the dal.
3. Heat ghee in a frying pan.
4. Add semolina and fry till brown.
5. Add water and stir constantly till cooked.
6. Add jaggery and allow the contents to boil.
7. Add dal and stir well.
8. Powder cardamom and add to the contents.
9. Remove the pan from the stove.
10. Extract coconut milk from the coconut and
add the contents.
11. Stir well and serve hot

By
