Bhubaneswar: With several investment proposals coming Odisha’s way, the second day of the ‘The Make in India Week’ currently underway in Mumbai has turned profitable for the state.
Persistent Systems would explore opportunities for IT sector investment in the state and has expressed interest to visit Bhubaneswar this month.
ITC is looking to invest Rs. 800 crore in Odisha over the next few years to set up a hotel property and a food processing park in the state.
Solon India Pvt Ltd, a Telangana-based company, has expressed its keenness on setting up a 400-MW solar power plant while Panchavaktra Holding Pvt Ltd, a Gurgaon-based company, has proposed to invest in the renewable energy sector.
Lava International would visit Bhubaneswar soon to evaluate possible locations for investment. Mandhana Industries will visit Odisha to set up a textiles manufacturing facility.

Vedanta Ltd on Monday said it will sign a pact with Odisha government to set up an Aluminium park, which is likely to create 17,000 jobs and attract over Rs 1,000 crore investment.
