  1. Rohu fish:500grams
  2. Mustard seed: 1/2tsp (black)
  3. Mustard seed : 2tsp (white)
  4. Garlic: 7cloves
  5. Curd: ½ cup
  6. Green chili : 2nos
  7. Red chili: 2nos
  8. Turmeric Powder: ½ tsp
  9. Mustard oil: 1tsp
  10. Vegetable oil for fry
  11. Salt as per taste

  1. Clean all the fish pieces and marinate with turmeric powder and salt.
  2. Heat oil on a  frying pan and fry fish pieces slightly.
  3. Grind white mustard pieces, garlic, red chili and curd together.
  4. Another side heat mustard oil on a deep pan, add ½ mustard and cumin seed. Let them splutter.
  5. Add masala paste and turmeric powder and green chili.
  6. Cook it for 1-2 min and add water to make thick gravy.
  7. Add salt as per taste and let it boil.
  8. Add fish piece and cook it 3-4mins in low flame.
