Concept of ‘HA BIRAHE BENI JANE’
“Ha Birahe Beni Jane,” the concept by MANJUSHREE PANDA is a small part of the Odia epic “DHARA STREET RADHA”.written by well known contemporary Poet Sri Mangala prasad Pradhan.
As narrator Lalita,a friend of RADHA depicts the story which revolves around the various patches from the duos RADHA and KRISHNA’s life in love and love in separation.
It says The pangs ,The pains they both have undergone in this periphery.The gallone of abondoned love always fall shot to their union.The flashback of their good days ends with separation only.
The artist are Saji Menon in Mohiniattam,Mrinalini Biswas in Bharatnatyam and Manjushree Panda herself in Odissi.
Saji Menon in Mohiniattam –
Saji Menon’s schooling in Gwalior, with deep affection towards dance & with immense family support, she joined Nalanda Nritya kala Mahavidyala in Mumbai, a premier institution enjoying unique position in the world of dance & education.
Saji has been under the direct tutelage of the renowned Mohiniattam exponent and dance scholar, Padmashree and Padmabhushan Smt Dr. Kanak Rele, the founder and education director of Nalanda Nritya Kala Mahavidyala.
