The Nabarangpur Collector Md. Sadique Alam, heard public grievances of the people at Papadahandi block office. Over 40 public grievances were heard and most of the complaints related to IAY, Mo Kudia, BPL cards, pensions, and making of new ration card etc.
The residents of Papadahandi, with local Sarapanch Kailash Chandra Bhatra and ward members submitted memorandum to collector. In their petition listed out a number of grievances and the Collector to intervene and redress them. Of the demands pipe water supply, drainage facility, at Papadahandi village, rest shed at block office, market yard for daily market, fire station, sifting of foreign liquor shop, ghara badi patta’s to the residents of Dolaiguda, improvement of roads of hospital and tahasil office. The Collector who heard the delegation’s grievances assured to look into them. Over 40 public grievances were heard at Papadahandi. Among others superintendent of police Brajesh Kumar Rai, Superintendent of excise Rabi Prasad Patro, BDO Soojata Mishra, Chairman of block Lingaraj zilla parisad member, Somanath Bissoiy present.
