His ‘Bidagdha Chintamani’ is his best and immortal creation and a valuable for odia literature. No other odia book is comparable to ‘Bidagdha Chintamani’. This can be seen from these lines

The role of Abhimanyu Samanta Singhara can not be denied during the Riti Yuga period of Odia Literature. Without him the odia literature is incomplete. His family had been entitled as “Samanta Singhara” by Gajapati to his ancestors. The title “Bidagdha Kabi” was given to him for “Bidagdha Chintamani”. In memory and respect of him govt of Odisha renamed his village in his name and build schools and colleges in his name.
