Volunteering is never a lost cause. And that’s what Mr. Gouri Prasad Dash always conveys through his act of voluntary blood and SDP (Single Donor Platelets) donation. He is only 29 years old and has donated SDP 97 times and whole blood 24 times. Unbelievable isn’t it?
Well this great feat has been recognized by “Bravo International Book of World Records” and this kind gesture has touched the hearts of all the voluntary blood donors accross the state of Odisha, India. From Cancer Fighters to Thalassemia Fighters, Mr. Gouri has lit a ray of hope in the lives of many families and wishes to do the same a zillion times in the future.
The only way we can show our respect and appreciation to such a noble human being is by becoming a Voluntary Blood (or SDP) Donor. There is no alternative for human blood and we must realize the same and through our actions, restore faith in humanity.
The world needs more “Mr.Gouri”s and together we can help each other.
Let’s donate blood voluntarily and save lives!
