Padmavati Temple:- Padmavati Temple has two granite statues of Padmavati (or Mahalaxmi), assigned to 6th-7th century. The original Padmavati statue was discovered only in 1964 in utter state of ruins, restored & conserved by ASI in 1971. The two-handed Padmavati holds a lotus (padma) in one hand & one fruit in the other, worshipped as the primal deity. It is surmounted by a seven hooded snake & the other (parswa devi) by a five hooded snake.
