Students of ASA SIKHIBA AMARI BHASHA represent Sons Of #Odisha At 71st Independence Day Celebration At Lal Quila
Students of ASA SIKHIBA AMARI BHASHA have represented in state pavilion as Sons of Soil (Odisha) during 71st Independence Day celebration at LalQuilla.
New Delhi: Sons of Soil from Odisha were represented by a group of students during the 71st Independence Day celebration at Lal Quilla here on Tuesday.
Students of Asa Sikhiba Amari Bhasha, an initiative to teach Odia language in New Delhi by “THE INTELLECTS”, a progressive forum of intellectuals, represented the legendary leaders of Odisha in the state pavilion as Sons of Soil (Odisha) during the national event.
Invited by the Union government, the students represented Odisha’s legendary leaders like Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar Mohapatra (Saswat Parida), Krushna Chandra Gajapati Deo (Aashis Mohapatra), Subhas Chandra Bose (Aryan Rout), Veer Surendra Sai (by Abinash Rout), Gopabandhu Das (Omkar Mishra), Madhusudan Das (Ashutosh Sarangi), Rama Devi (Ananya Nayak), Sarala Devi (Shreya Mohapatra) and Fakir Mohan Senapati (Pratyush Kanungo).
Their act was highly appreciated by many people who took part in the celebrations.
Debendra Nath Rout, Chairman, The Intellects, termed the students’ act as a rich yet humble tribute to the freedom fighters of the state.
Pankajmala Sarangi, General Secretary, and other members of the forum – Anusaya Nayak, Srutidhara Nayak, Swarna Mahapatra, Aditya Mohanty, Manoj Panigrahi, Saroj Mahapatra and Mohammad Samsuz Zaman laboured hard to prepare the students.
